Had a week for prestart and panicking. Pushed it back a week so i have this weekend to think and browse crosby tiles etc. I had similar thoughts, follow display homes with the paint walls and floor tiling going up one wall of shower, or sometimes shower completely different glossy white tiles usually. Or go with the all wall tiled look. Gf thinks my initial choice of that taupe grey style made the bathroom all Doom and gloom but looking at the contrasting use of the white gloss and white stone tops make me wonder if i can pull it off. I'm intending to rent it out for long term, personal taste aside do you guys think the grey white black ensuite / bathroom look will appeal to most tenants? I think the dark tiles and grout are recommended for wet areas or rentals in general to hide mould and dirt correct? Keep up the inspirational photo ideas, loving it and saving as many as i can. I'm tossing up whether to go the dark brown or black vanity top with light woodeny laminate or white gloss below. Or do the reverse. What do you think has the most effect? Looking for something modern and gives of a sophisticated look without dating as rentals probably won't be looked after. Coincidentally I went into trevors carpets and the guy recommended over the wooden laminates the vinyl planking. Yours is the ones that are water proof and just stick down right? They look like tiles or wooden flooring and can be removed and restuck down when one needs replacing?? Has anyone tried these on the main living areas vs tiles? Just wondering if they feel tacky or aren't as practical as tiles. I like that they're water proof. If the vinyl planking is what i think it is. All 3 items listed are defects and are of concern. Would you consider accessing the separate toilet from the laundry? If so maybe… 1 11228 Render your bathroom walls, two opinions versus the one, makes you wonder. 3 6035 |
