Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Bath tap placement 7Sep 10, 2015 7:04 pm dolphinblu We have a freestanding bath placed under a window and it is at least 20cm off this wall and nothing either end. I have three kids (3,8,10). I have floor bath spout with a hand held attached (great for washing little kids and hair) We can lay either end of our bath. The bath spout can be turned away if it gets in the way but so far this hasn't been an issue. I did have (previous house) a freestanding bath set within a tighter space and between three walls, in a nook. This had a tap in the middle and this was fine as well. If you do go down this path I suggest having the taps/ mixer on the wall closest to where you get in (which we had) so you don't have to lean over the bath to reach the tap (if that makes sense). Also had this set up with young kids and works fine. Thanks for your extensive reply! Someone once said to me they regretted putting the taps in the middle but I guess that's not the common view.. I guess if the bath is big enough it's ok Hi all, My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room. We have a large N/W facing window and are wanting to have a wood slow… 0 11129 Move your linen into laundry and access laundry from your present linen space 1 5732 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 4390 |
