If exhaust fanned properly it tends to keepo the steam off them. Not sure if it was legal to have used standard lights.
And yes there are special ones for the shower now LEDs are even better So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights. I'm planning on putting deck lights along the outside edge of a large deck.
