Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jun 11, 2015 2:33 pm Trying to decide what to do with our bathroom mirrors. We will be using 300x300 tiles on floor and 300x600 on the wall (Vertically). This means the bottom of our mirrors will be about 1200 up from the floor. I don't think it's too high but just not sure if it's going to look the best? It's either that or we stop the tiles at the sides of the cabinet and bring the mirrors down to the benchtop?. Opinions?? Re: Is 1200 Too High For A Mirror? 2Jun 11, 2015 3:40 pm Saw one in a house recently Mrs SM couldn't see in it - and she's not that small. I wondered why it was so high. 1200 is not that high imo. Can it become the wall - ie from the bench to ceiling ? Our bench goes from wall to shower area - about 2000/2500 - and our mirror is then from bench top almost to ceiling. Great affect. Downside - I have to clean it as Mrs SM can't reach the top. I'd probably stop at bench /cabinet side - and bring mirror down. The affect of a large mirror is awesome imo. My brothers are measuring and making my mirrors so I can probably get them to do the cutouts for points and have them fitted into the mirror. I put two of the 11kg ones in for a 12kg mirror on the wall, and its been great for 4 years now. 4 2142 Thanks mate. Yeah good points!
