Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jun 01, 2015 3:11 pm Hi, we're looking to build a drying room as part of our new build. We live in Melbourne at it will be approx 2m x 1m with shelving and about 3 rectangular vents zoned off the ducted heating. I don't think there is any ventilation planned by the builder. My question is for those that have built one and using it: are these effective? Do we need to vent it as well? Will it get mouldy? Any tips from those that have been there? Thanks in advance. Re: Drying room 2Jun 02, 2015 8:32 am I don't know about a drying room but I know a few people who have a drying cupboard as part of their laundry and is usually the cupboard with an internal HWC inside to provide the heat. Note that these are for removing the last part of dampness from clothes that have already been part dried outside not for taking clothes straight from the washing machine although with a separate room and decent ventilation you could probably achieve this. viewtopic.php?f=62&t=57151 viewtopic.php?f=63&t=47896 Stewie Re: Drying room 3Jun 02, 2015 4:57 pm Thanks, those links are really useful.
