So when in use you cannot change it except from the unit that is in control. And even then, well on the Rinnai at least it can only be changed down, not up. Beside having more is better than having one. As the poster below said if you have one then if the temp is wrong you would have to go to that controller to check. And besides wouldn't get around the issue above anyway as anyone with access to that controller could change it without you knowing.
