The wife and I are embarking on a new house build using one of the big builders. Anyway had a selections meeting the other day and was offer the choice of framed, semi framed and frameless for our shower screens.
Anyway I understand the difference between the 3, except of course in our build both showers have walls on 3 sides and an opening of around 1000mm, so really only requires a door.
Now framed is this builders standard option, with semi and frameless as upgrades, but I am buggered if I know how any of these would apply in our case, surely what we will get is a glass door hinged off one of the side walls of the shower. The women we were dealing with couldn't explain how any of these options would apply in our case, but was still pushing us to 'upgrade'.
