(With pics) 41Jun 19, 2008 5:42 pm You'll be fine with the grout, Bel - they have a board with all of them on it, so you hold the tile against it to see which one you like. They do also have some walls and boards with frouted tiles on display - maybe they'll have yours ???? They have just refurbished their showroom, too (not that it looked vastly different to me ,H2B and vanderlay!!! ) And, luckily for you, H2B has told you which one to get - you're miles ahead already!!! Hopefully you'll have a good consultant - our first one was terrible, but she doesn't do selections anymore (gee, I wonder why? ) We had Elise a couple of weeks ago - she was excellent - very helpful AND patient!!! Solidarity, not solidity.......The Lexicon of Life Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 42Jun 19, 2008 6:16 pm Thanks for that Toni and Petal
Yep Urban Earth it is, the more I look, the more everyone is right, the contrast is a GOOD contrast and the Cloud is just too similar and would blend in to much. I just need to pick a feature tile/mosaic/pebble to go with it all now Toni - Don't even get me started on bricks!!! My karma ran over your dogma Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 43Jun 19, 2008 6:27 pm haywgl I just need to pick a feature tile/mosaic/pebble to go with it all now Toni - Don't even get me started on bricks!!! Forget the bricks Have fun with the mosiacs Happy at Home Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 44Jun 19, 2008 7:47 pm Another vote here for the darker one. It's not too dark and it makes the laminate not blend in too much. All the white wall tiling will stop the room appearing too small. Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 45Jun 19, 2008 8:20 pm Yep i like the dark one too - better contrast.
In fact this is making me re-think my bathroom colours. I have picked dark floors and dark cupboard laminate, but now thinking i should pick something lighter for the cupboards as a contrast (shh don't tell Mish...) It's all so confusing isn't it ... Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 47Jun 19, 2008 8:27 pm It is so confusing you are right Simone

I have to decide now on a pebble feature for the bathroom, a mosaic or a plain tile border..... I'm definatly getting the mosaic for the powder but I think it might look a bit busy in the bathroom with the QQ benchtop, so was thinking of plain pebbles or a plain tile in a similiar colour to urban earth... Just when I thought I was done I think you are right, go for a plain border/feature so your QQ is the feature. I looooooove the mosiac for the powder room I'm signing off now for a few hours........ Happy at Home Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 59Jun 20, 2008 10:56 am A little biased as we have urban earth - not really that dark once its all down. We have white tiles and a coco glass small mosaic (2 strips of three) we also have plantations. We have snow c'stone and nocturne oak so I guess more of a contrast. But I think Urban Earth looks good. Re: Which Tile? (With pics) 60Jun 20, 2008 11:24 am mudtrilogy A little biased as we have urban earth - not really that dark once its all down.
