This stops water tracking under the tiles to the outside of the shower. Does the shower screen track run right across the door opening or can you see the tile line broken? I am going through a similar problem atm. Admittedly the issues was made worse by having a long stainless grate, where instead of having silicon around it I had grout which worked it way loose. I have since come up with the same conclusion as you and wounder why this isn't. Now I am doing a lot of retro fitting and looking at products like shower plug etc. fingers crossed this solve the issue. Might have to invest in a moisture tester to determine where the moisture is going. 2 5858 |
