Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 29, 2014 3:37 pm Hi Everyone,
We are just doing some minor repairs to our property as we intend to sell shortly. We have a old cast iron bath tub that has a fair amount of rust coming through. We could get the tub professionally resurfaced but that is about $1500. So we were thinking of trying to do it ourselves with one of the Tub and Tile Refinishing Kits on the market. Either the "White Knight " one or the "Rust - Oluem". Has anyone used any of these products and what was your experience. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Crankie Re: Bath Tub Repairs and Refinishing 2Dec 29, 2014 5:10 pm I have not personally used it but i have been on jobs where people have tried to do it themselves and i have never seen a good job. I have seen it done professionally and it comes up great, i think its the kind of job you are better to leave it to the tradesman with experience. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good hydronic in slab heating speacialist who may be able to help me with an existing system and wether or not it may need a seperator… 0 4870 Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included. My hesitation… 0 24690 2 4475 |
