We chose ones that are matt but they have a subtle gloss pattern which the sales lady demonstrated does not leave hand prints or anything. So far so good. It's the glass that I hate cleaning. We are going to apply glass shield from Bunnings shortly to make it easier. Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 27Oct 29, 2014 10:24 pm Tip from the Trade: There are a few different types of Glass Sheilds on the market basically they seal the pores of the glass to stop build up getting into the tiny pores of the glass. You can use RainX which is the same thing can be bought from places like Supercheap Auto its very cheap and is the exact same product, seals the glass surface and makes the water bead off only costs a few bucks and can also get wipes which will stop the bathroom mirror from fogging up. Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 29Oct 30, 2014 9:14 am I actually just did product review on a product from woolies that use in bathrooms to stop mirrors and showers fogging up. i used on shower and all water just runs off and it stays clear. Was pretty impressed haha Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 30Nov 05, 2014 8:16 am Splashers I applied the Rainx. Works brilliantly - Thanks for the tip. Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 31Nov 05, 2014 8:28 am Glad to hear, it saves you some money and is the same stuff that products like Aquasheild are made up of. Just repeat the process every 12 months or so, also never ever use any type of scourers on the glass once it has very light surface scratches the white gunk builds up quicker n harder to clean and maintain. Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 33Nov 05, 2014 8:40 am Thanks Splashers I was wondering when to reapply it. I did used to madly scour my old bathrooms but now I know better! Very cheap too - 1 $10 bottle did both bathrooms. Highly recommended! Was pretty impressed haha I got some of that Vileda Magical the other day, and it really does drastically reduce the bathroom windows from fogging up. $10 for an easy to apply product (Rain-X you need to apply it properly), is quite good value. Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 35Nov 05, 2014 9:48 am It's not top to bottom tiling, or anything fancy, but wanted to share our ensuite shower without a door - when I was looking around before we finalised our plans, this was quite hard to find on H1, so for anyone in the future interested in something similar, we have a doorless shower entry: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ --- Re: Show me your bathroom/ensuites? 36Nov 05, 2014 10:38 am Great planning H1Login!!! I'm got mint accessories for the main bathroom. Not sure what will work in the ensuite. Any ideas? A colour wheel would help - when we were planning the colours for our bathroom, we used something like this: http://www.tigercolor.com/color-lab/col ... _harmonies Helped us figure out what would work and reinforced decisions that we had already made.
