Also what would be the best tool to remove this? I used the socket faucet wrench like below one - but it does not help much (as the handle is too short and so i could not use enough power to twist the thing off) tool i used http://www.keyhole.com.tw/tools/faucet- ... _030_logo/ the stubborn cartridge https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4kn08lb05645b4/1.jpg pls help me! Thanks a lot Regards, Huy Re: stubborn bathtube/shower cartridge!!! 4Jul 04, 2014 1:59 pm Failing that, a 26mm mechanics ring spanner should shift it. That's what I have used in the past for a few but that depends on the brand of your taps and what size the manufacturers used for the tap body. Stewie Re: stubborn bathtube/shower cartridge!!! 6Jul 07, 2014 9:20 am As Stewie mentioned, try putting a longer tube over the short bar that's supplied with the kit, the longer the handle, the more torque you can apply to crack it open. I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says.
