Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 May 20, 2014 12:10 pm Hi there, Was just wondering if anyone can recommend or has experience of bath shower screen people (part fixed and part moving for a shower bath combo in a small bathroom)? I've heard of Stegbar and am waiting for them to get back to me, love to hear any personal recommendations of these guys, or any other (we're in Brisbane). I know you can also buy off the shelf, is it best to do made to measure though and does the price increase a lot? Am wanting to also find out, noggingwise how much support these type screens need, before we start sheeting & tiling the walls. Thank you in advance. Re: Glass shower bath screen suggestions? 2Jul 12, 2014 4:06 pm We're about to do the same thing! We got three quotes, Stegbar being over $1000, and the other two about $600. It should be OK - do you want me to let you know who they were and whether it worked? Re: Glass shower bath screen suggestions? 4Jul 14, 2014 9:57 pm Glenda1 We're about to do the same thing! Love to hear! 2 4475 Your shower screen has failed in the way it is designed to fail with tempered glass. You could replace it with laminated safety glass but make sure it has AS standards logo on it 1 11161 You need to reference the manufactures installation guide, your supplier may have strengthened the base where it is not required to sit on a bed. 1 1803 |
