The catch may be that most suppliers will have a clause that they have no responsibility once the tiles are laid. Make sure that you push the point that this defect is something that can not be detected until the tile is in use - so how can one know prior to installation. I can only speak of the products i import. But in 16 years of importing from Spain i never have had such issues.
