Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 09, 2014 7:11 pm Hello Guys, We are adding toilet and shower in our laundry and changing the old light. The guy who came last week for quote said "Light and Fan" in Laundry will cost around $500. A quick search on bunnings or master says he is asking for too much, right? If so, can you please advise us what would be best "Light and Fan" can we use in Laundry? We already have big window in Laundry so also thinking if fan is really needed or just get light? Any comments and recommendations? Anna Re: Why its so costly - "Light and Fan" in Laundry ? 2Apr 09, 2014 9:09 pm Depends if that is ducted as well, or just into the roof space. Also depends what brand he would use, may not be going to cheapest that masters/bunnings have. But yes, I'd be expecting a bit less. Any comments and recommendations? Anna If you already have a big window that would suffice the ventilation, or have an exhaust fan instead for proper ventilation so molds wont grow in the area. For the light use CFL bulb. that would be enough.. in my case i have a small window in my laundry so i use dehumidifier to lessen the moist in the area or a fan, but we have the dehumidifier long before so no need to buy. Any electricians here please help. 1) Will the Fan need separate switch to ON/OFF/Speed eventhough it comes with Remote 2) how about… 0 1226 You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 18579 That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17890 |
