Re: Wooden toilet seats/toilet roll holders/towel rails 22Jun 02, 2011 10:05 pm We had a wooden toilet seat but it never sat properly and after a while it started to crack so i got rid of it, however i still have the wooden towell rail and toilet roll holder. The towell rail has been in there for about 6-7 years and all the varnish has come off where the towells go over the rail but other then that its still like new. The toilet roll holder is not that good as its allways covered in toilet paper fluff (a bit like all the tissue fluff you get unerd the tissue box but 100 times worse). In our new house i will be getting all plastic ones, might not look as good but much easier to clean.
