Hi guys,
I would like to add heated towel rails after handover rather than the builder install them & charge a ransom !
Is it possible? And if yes, how does the builder's electrician do it?
Am I being unreasonable?

How yummy to have warm towels after a shower . At the mo I stick the towel over the ducted heating vent to warm it up before I go in but it's not quite the same Yes, they use a lot of power. So you don't want them on all the time. Ideally you want about an hour after the wet towel goes on (to get them dry) and an hour in winter before you use them. Using a timer will give you a warm towel on a cold winters morning and keep your power costs reasonable.
