These bathroom floor tiles were laid a little over ten years ago. One or two of them have been drummy for quite a while now, but recently started to lift on one side causing the grout to loosen. Having removed the grout and eventually the tiles as well there is a subfloor problem with the cement(?) where a crack has developed allowing the movement that lifted one edge of the tiles.
Effectively all tiles along this line have been removed, but what I would like to know now is how I should best prepare the surface (including the crack) so that I can relay the tiles.
As always the pictures will tell a thousand words, so here they are.

The red arrow shows the corner of the cracking. The cracking/movement in the direction of the arrow has not caused the tiles to lift, however it has moved enough to cause the old grout to separate. I removed it and regrouted that line. AS you can see I haven't removed all the tile adhesive as yet.

Showing more of the line of cracking.
I was hoping to clear out any of the crumbling cement from along the line and fill it with something that will allow me to them re-lay the tiles. I understand that this won't address whatever the underlying issues are that caused the cracking. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.
