Same as the ships I look after. Can't recall using plastic vent tubes. Normal 100mm PVC sewer pipe has a max continuous temp usage of 60ºC which is why metal ducting is preferred. The cost of the special high temp PVC pipe and fittings is probably quite a bit more than what the equivalent metal pipe would be anyway. For reference AS2032 is the AS I've seen quoted for this situation. I don't know how you would go with your insurance company either if your place caught fire because of non-compliant ducting.
