We're thinking of an in-wall cistern and have been recommended by our plumber to go for the 6L size. The pan that I quite like is designed for 4.5L (it's also cheaper compared to others). The sales guy said functionally it should be fine from a flushing perspective - the only issue would be that if there's a blockage the pan would overflow.
I guess that makes sense - has anyone done this and had any issues? I'm assuming it's obviously better to match the pan and cistern, but a similar Villeroy & Boch pan in a 6L capacity is another $200 and I'm just wondering if I can get away with it.
Thanks.
