Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 21, 2013 10:48 pm Hey guys I am new to the bathroom renovations and to the forum. I have a question about water proofing. I have a shower/bath all in one, And im wondering if I water proof under the bath or just on the walls to where the bath meets. Thanks in advance. If your bath has a self supporting/ levelling frame with built in facing panels you can waterproof the whole room then silicone the bath to the wall and tile down to it. Re: Bathroom reno 3Jul 25, 2013 2:25 pm Is the bathroom upstairs or downstairs? What sort of sub floor is it?? Normally just waterproof the whole floor and be done with it!
