I would love having no glass to clean. Does very much water escape without a screen? This is going to be a must in my next build. At the moment we have a large walk in shower with just a sheet of glass. It's pretty easy to keep clean. No idea re water escape as our house isn't built yet. Fingers crossed I'll be able to answer your question by Christmas time I don't thin it will be an issue. The wall is 1100mm long and even if water splashes back a bit there shouldn't be any problems as it will all be tiled.
