For towels, I would have two rail location - the first behind the door (on door or wall as suits you) for when you are not bathing or showering. Second a rail coming out perpendicular to the wall, parallel to the shower glass, at the end of the bath where it meets the shower. Move your towel here while showering so it is easy to grab, then return it to the behind the door rails to dry afterwards. Thanks dragonchild. I think you're right.
