Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Bath size - headrest space? 3May 02, 2013 7:56 am Mrsperfect We had just renovated our bathroom and allowed 140cms from the edge of the bath, (200cms in total - including the rim of the bath) for the headrest. It is easy to place a rolled towel on the ledge or you can buy a pillow which attaches to the bath. Our previous layout didn't allow any headrest room, so this is more comfortable. We could have had a longer bath but opted for a ledge to place a plant or candles etc on it. The other thing to consider is the larger the bath, the more expensive to fill? The European baths are very deep as it is. Hope this helps? hello, jim from roundbathcompany here most spa/bath designs have a pillow rebate in there design which would allow you to centralise the bath in the opening you have spabaths usually require an area for the pump which is quite often at the headend You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
