Bathroom colours

Hi guys,

Well I got my hands on some Laminex and Quantum Quartz samples today and am working my way through bathroom colours...

I have decided on Laminex Oyster Linea for my cuboards (Thanks P

) and am trying to decide on a benchtop to go with it, so far I am leaning towards Quantum Squartz Coral Reef and Pebble Cove.

The tiles I am yet to pick, hoping for a stoney colour...

Vanity basins will be round above counter and window coverings will be white shutters.....

How am I going so far

What do we think ?

I'm leaning towards the Coral Reef as it has more similar tones to the Oyster Linea, but not really sure if I am on the right track...

Hi Bel,

Very nice colours.

I think the coral reef picks up the colors in the oyster linea.

You are a very organised girl

Cant wait to see it all come together.

I'd go Coral Reef - it seems to fit better with the benches - the Pebble Cove looks like it brings a blue tinge to the party which isn't really matched anywhere else (or its my monitor :lol:

)

Pebble cove looks a bit green on mine!

both look good IMO

First QQ looks like a warm white and the second is more of a cool white.

either would be good.

Depends on your tiles as well.

Hi Bel,

I think either would look fine. We are having the Pebble cove with moleskin for our kitchen.

The pattern or flecks through each of them are actually the same colour, it is just that the Coral Reef is a lighter base the the Pebble Cove (doesn't show like that on the monitor, you need the actual samples)

I would also go for the Coral Reef... it has the colour of the Oyster LInea.
That is based on my screen colour.

This is why it is so hard to pick anything without the samples - even though it looks like that from the samples posted, it is actually the other way around. The Coral Reef is a whiter base & the Pebble cove is creamier! :wink:

Thanks for your replies everyone!

I agree it is very hard to see over a computer screen I was hoping that some of you may have chosen similar colours in your selection so you would know what I was talking about

I have the samples in front of me - both work well with the oyster linea but i think I am favouring the coral reef at this stage

It's nice to have some decisions made....will have to make my way out to National Tiles to see what tiles go with the selections I have made
