Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 04, 2013 8:23 pm We're currently renovating and are replacing the small electric storage HWS with an instant gas (Rinnai 26 litre). We're on tank water with a pressure pump so pressure should be equal to or better than mains water. Can we pretty much use any shower head? I've heard that some of the low flow ones don't work well with instant HWS. Certainly don't want a trickle of a shower. I've looked at the Methven satinjet ones, are they any good and will they work with our proposed set up? Thanks. Re: Shower head query - suitable for high water pressure onl 2Mar 04, 2013 8:35 pm Set the temp such that you don't need to add cold water and if should be fine. That's been my experience of them with low flow heads. When we had the temp higher and were adding cold water we had awful temperature fluctuations. Can you even get full flow heads anymore?! 2 I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says. Thanks 2 9569 Not recommended!
