Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 30, 2013 6:25 pm Hi,
I had inspection today and Tiler was doing the wet areas. I was amazed to see the tile around the drain hole (see the picture). Instead of making the hole in tile, he cut the tile and used pieces but Tiler said this is the way how it should be and would be better looking after the grout. Is it normal? Looks ok to me. if it is cut for water flow then it is good. In my wet areas, some of the water does not flow into the drain and stays near walls. Re: Bathroom tiling 8Jan 31, 2013 6:38 am He has done it correctly. Without cutting the tile like that the water wouldnt flow to the drain properly!
