We did to the ceiling in both bathroom and ensuite and love it. From memory it set us back $2000-3000. But, it's so worth it IMO. I also tiled the whole splash back in the laundry which I think helps it look more finished. Yep - we tend to look at the longer term - even if it does mean a little more now. Its sure to cost a fortune later. We're going with ceiling high. Mrs M actually visited a friends new place and it was done that way. Said it did look very grand indeed. I tend to go with the flow on colour, tile etc issues. Its safer ... Looking at some of the designs on websites, they are all selling very similar products. I get that you want something stylish.
