Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 08, 2012 7:39 am Help me finalise my bathroom layout - builders start Monday! We are building a new ensuite in existing WIR/entry area: http://www.flickr.com/photos/90869600@N02/8252366431/ We want a double towel rail somwhere not too far from the shower and this is the best I can manage (see plan - on RHS as you enter, between cavity slider and vanity). Do you think it will be too cramped between the wall hung vanity and the wall? Its only a 150mm gap Will this reduce the impact of wall hanging the unit? Others suggested swapping shower and toilet locations (little cost difference as new bathroom), but I think that makes the toilet cramped and the whole room feel like 2 corridors (like it is now). We are also having trouble with the shower screen for the eruo-style tile-base, walk-in shower. I want frameless. I thought just a fixed panel, but we have been told there will be too much splash - the opening is around 1150, allowing for 500 opening, it only leaves a 650 panel. Any suggestions for products / solutions gratefully received.
