I've seen a couple of houses with those monsoon type showers - anyone know how they compare in water usage compared to normal shower heads and water saving shower heads? One, they vary, there's good water saving heads and there's awful water saving heads and if the only one you've ever experienced is an awful one it'd put you right off the idea of water saving heads. I had one once but it wasn't my first so I knew it was just a crap design. Two, the good ones feel different at first, sure, but you get used to them pretty quick and it does not feel like theres not enough water. For water usage comparisons doesn't it say on the packaging whats the flow rate? The monsoon ones would be a monsoon so they'd have to be the worst but by how much I don't know. They sound luxurious but I'm not sure how comfortable and practical they are when you just want to get the job done and there's like a monsoon over your head. I'm sure I've seen people post that they've installed a monsoon with another shower head just so's they'll avoid that and they've got a choice which to use.
