Hey.
Had a hard time fitting an appropriate topic.
Anyway, we are building a house, and we are putting in a spa in the ensuite. Just a rectangular bath tub style spa bath. The main reason I want one is because I have back problem and I much enjoy soaking in a hot bath. The problem is now that there's a million different models, yet I'm still having trouble finding anything I like!
The original spa bath they had was completely square, and I really want something with some lumbar support. I've been told they can take in most spas, including anything from their recommended brands Decina, Caroma and Stylus. I've been to every single bath store in brisbane I think, but most of them don't have any bathtubs on display.
I've found the Decina Prima in one store, which seems to be the style I want. However, it is incredibly big.. The length is fine (we are going for the 165-170cm long models) and I don't mind that it is extra deep, but it is also incredibly wide, especially at the feet where it is needed the least (it's much bigger than it looks on the picture). I'm afraid I will be too worried about the water usage to be able to use it much. And although it has as much lumbar support as any other spa bath, you will still end up sitting pretty much upright.
What I would REALLY want is something that I can almost lay down in if you know what I mean. Or in other words, I'd like the lumbar support to be a little less steep if possible. I found one (Decina Novara) that looks like it has slightly more lumbar support, although it might just look that way because it is smaller. And with it being so much smaller, I'm afraid of going for it before trying it first (in case it is TOO small, which would be bad).
Can anyone recommend good spa brand and spa models that would suit me? I would also much much appreciate some recommendations on where I can actually view some of these tubs in person around Brisbane.

Thank you!
EDIT: to clarify, right now we look at buying the Decina Prima (also called Modena when having antislip bottom). I think it is extra wide so you can put a shower over bath (which we won't). It's not perfect, but too big is better than too small at least.. but we'd really like to find something more suited for us. If someone does have this bath though, we'd be really keen on hearing your thoughts.
