Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Oct 16, 2012 10:13 am Hey All, I'm about the reno a bathroom. Tiny bathroom about 5m2 with tiles half way up the walls over compressed concrete board. House build 1978 so I had the boards tested and they contain Asbestos I pulled a few tiles off, they pop off easy enough however they are taking parts of the fibro with them and creating dust. Does anyone know of a GOOD reputable company that will demo the bathroom back to studs while removing the asbestos and dust correctly and cleanly. I want the job done properly and by the book, I'm not overly concerned with the $$$.... whatever it cost to have real tradesmen not cowboys. I'm in Sydney Help me out people I'm a little stressed over this. What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength. I has no Asbestos in it.
