Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 01, 2008 1:17 pm Hello!!
I am really stuck on bathroom colour ideas....everytime I think I am onto something I look at the colour selections and they are all wrong... I'm thinking a mid grey coloured floor tile, with dark charcoal cabinets and a Quantum Quartz Everest benchtop....I like the look of the shower tiles also carrying colour through - I really like chocolate wall shower tiles but I don't think they would suit all the grey - so maybe a grey shower tile?? Or if I decide to go down the brown bath, maybe a stone coloured floor tile, with choclate brown shower tiles and dark brown cabinets with the Everest benchtop.... I like modern looks with clean lines.... I was hoping someone might have some pics they could share - I have goodled but can't find anything, I remember from my last posts people had great pics of white kitchen etc and i'm hoping this might be the same. Thanks guys bel Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 2Apr 01, 2008 1:22 pm Did u look the the Reece website? They have some nice bathrooms. [sneakersss] Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 4Apr 01, 2008 1:31 pm Thanks Yssim - Great pics on that site...I have decided now that I have scrapped the grey idea and am thinking of going for brown earthy tones.
The bathrooms they had with the browns looked gorgeous!! What colour floor tile would people suggest to go with dark brown/chocolate cabinets and Everest (off white speckled) benchtop? Thanks again Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 5Apr 01, 2008 1:36 pm haywgl I have decided now that I have scrapped the grey idea and am thinking of going for brown earthy tones. I've just had a look on the Porter Davis web site, at the style finder. There are lots of bathrooms with dark cabinets and light floors, look at the 'traditional coco' bathroom. http://www.porterdavis.com.au/#styles These rooms are just stunning! Beautifully decorated, I’m impressed! If anyone can’t get inspiration from this site there is something wrong! I’m in decorator heaven browsing through the site, and wishing my clients were this switched on, it would certainly be more fun for me! Yep I like that bathroom…… I like it all! You can tell I haven’t been to a display home in many years. Of course I'll change my mind at colour selections but atleast I have an idea Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 13Apr 02, 2008 7:42 am I just noticed this...
haywgl I'm thinking a mid grey coloured floor tile, with dark charcoal cabinets and a Quantum Quartz Everest benchtop.... Do people really use stone for their bathroom benchtops? [sneakersss] Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 14Apr 02, 2008 8:21 am Yssim - I hope I am not in the minority here I have caesarstone benchtops in my current property in the kitchen, bathroom, ensuite and laundry. Love it - so thought I would carry it on to my new home - if budget permits of course Re: Give me some inspiration (please) 15Apr 02, 2008 8:26 am Quote: Yssim - I hope I am not in the minority here I have caesarstone benchtops in my current property in the kitchen, bathroom, ensuite and laundry. I have it in my new house kitchen and bathrooms. Love it - so thought I would carry it on to my new home - if budget permits of course Interesting. We have the QQ in our kitchen and love it as well. Never thought of using it for the bathrooms, though. Maybe 'cos I haven't seen it before. Although, I don't think I could justify the cost. We got the apron edging to our island bench and that alone cost almost 1k. But hey, if it fits in your budget. Then go for it it! Should look lovely.
