Either way, it's a small bath and future potential purchasers will see that at 1350mm or 1400mm - 50mm won't make the difference. So better to be small but good looking than small and ugly (no offence to the square bath, of course ) Re: 1350mm freestanding bath too small? 25Sep 14, 2012 4:30 pm YellowPaper Thank you for helping me make my decision! Well if you can get comfortable in a 1300mm bath, then at a similar height I should be able to get comfortable in a 1350mm bath. I'll also get a wall hung vanity to make it appear the bathroom more spacious too! This will help with getting access to cleaning the bathroom. monkeypantz - agree, 50mm isn't much smaller and better to have more eye pleasing items for future buyers. I will update with photos when the bathroom is completed, actually, it's the last thing to do in the house. Re: 1350mm freestanding bath too small? 30Jun 27, 2013 4:23 pm I'll thought I'd update this... Looking back at this post, I think they ordered me the wrong bath, as it was suppose to be more of an egg shape. Never mind... too late now... took 3 months to get in as a special order. The bath is surprisingly quite large internally as the sides of the bath are no more than 1 inch thick, it is also deeper than expected. Anyway, it's just for kids to bathe and probably as good as make it given it being a small bathroom. I think I would have been able to squeeze in (by millimeters) a 1500mm bath, but I think having a slightly smaller bath makes the bathroom appear not so cramped. I think a larger bath with emphasize the small size of the bathroom. I also used a wall hung vanity to open up the bathroom. I also didn't match the mixer and bath spout very well. I should have picked a square mixer as I couldn't find a roundish bath spout that wouldn't stick out so much (and of course I'm not going to change the mixer). My bath spout only has a depth of 80mm, so it won't be too much in the way getting in and out. Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included. My hesitation… 0 24692 Not sure if that works? I was told the issue is the headspace clearance requirement on step 4.
