Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 17, 2012 4:06 pm Hi, I recently completed a renovation and unfortunately installed a Raymor Andorra II close coupled toilet suite. This toilet is of poor design and of poor quality, an overpriced heap of rubbish purchased from Tradelink, the take your money and run business. Some of the faults include the soft close seat, the hard lid bangs the cistern each time you get on or off it, the entire seat simply slides right off with no effort at all, it's noisy (cistern to bowl) and sounds like it howls when it dumps the water, it has a very small inlet so that a toilet brush doesn't even fit properly. So after much frustration getting nowhere with Tradelink we have decided to count our losses and install something decent and would like to ask what others suggest. The pipework is set-out to 175MM from the concrete base and it's an S-Trap style. A close coupled suite is nice but not an absolute requirement. I have looked at Caroma, Novelli and Roca. Cheers. Re: Toilet Suite 2Jul 24, 2012 9:09 pm Hi Greg I'd stick to Caroma... They are probably the biggest supplier to Oz, and I'd consider Villeroy and Boch (can be pricey but the toilets are great). Look at offset connectors to ensure your new toilet can retro fit over the pipe work without too much headache. Sof Looking at some of the designs on websites, they are all selling very similar products. I get that you want something stylish. It's worth looking for search terms like SaveH2O… 2 7006 Hey, I am wanting to add a second toilet to my house, bit we have limited room. There is a hallway/entry that is never used, so was thinking this could be an option.
