HI,
I have moved into a new house an year ago and have heaps of cleaning to be done just in 1 year.
The bathrooms and the whole house have percelain tiles....
Can someone suggest if steam mops are any good? If yes, which ones?
Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Re: cleaning cleaning and more cleaning 2Jun 26, 2012 1:20 pm some claim steam mops push the dirt into grout and it becomes hard to clean so make sure you vacuum before wetting the floor as a precaution. so far i find no issue by vacuuming the floor first, then follow by steam mop and then immediately dry fabric to dry up the floor, in small section each time, like 8 to 10 (600 x 600) tiles across in 1 go, change dry fabric when it get too wet. porcelain wall tiles in shower space is easier, spray on mild detergent, leave it for a good 5 - 10 minutes to remove soap scum, sponge then squeegee to get rid of the water. Re: cleaning cleaning and more cleaning 3Jun 26, 2012 4:58 pm We use a light spray of water with some eucalyptus oil in it and a microfibre mop - the secret is not to have too much water so the tiles are dry ... works a treat for our pp floor tiles. Re: cleaning cleaning and more cleaning 5Jul 02, 2012 10:06 am speaking about this, i just did the whole floor again last weekend, and decided it is taking too much time and effort. has anyone started looking at some of the steam vacuum machine? i.e. it steam then vacuum up the moist and dirt together? something similar to this would be quite handy for a large porcelain area. http://www.karcher.com.au/aus/Products/ ... 393100.htm but i can't just justify spending 800 on a "vacuum" machine. lol.
