Re: Which sink is more practical? 10May 27, 2012 8:51 am AubinGroveFan AJW With the first 3 being the same basin I would say that it not a case of what is is more practical but what looks better in your situation. yes, I know it's the same sink but will one be more likely to break (semi-recessed) if you lean on it or will require more maintenance (over the counter)? I personally like the last one just because it has double the capacity of the first three, however not sure if I'll be able to upgrade to it as the first three (choice out of them) come included in our build. None of them will break, and all three should be set at about the same height, so as I said it really comes down to looks rather than practicality, which is the point I was making. As for the last sink, double the capacity is not always such as a good thing. It really depends upon how you use your basin. Some people shave with water in the basis some shave with water running from the tap. Some fill the basin to wash their face, some use a running tap. When it comes to the basin is it bigger by being deeper or is it bigger by being wider or longer? If deeper then you may have further to reach to get to water or need to fill it more to bring the water to a usable level. If wider or longer then you will need more water to bring up to a reasonable level. Only you know how you use it, so only you would know if this is practical or not.
