Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 04, 2012 8:50 pm Hi everyone! I am new to this site, we have recently bought our first home and are doing some little improvements on a very tight budget. Our early 1990s bathroom has a corner-spa, laminate vanity, and shower tray all in a pale creamy peach colour. The wall tiles are white with a light grey marble effect. The floor tiles are white. I want to paint the walls. They were originally peach, the previous owner painted them white using cheap ceiling paint. I want something understated that will modernise the room. I am thinking a warm taupe/light brown to go with the peach elements, or a pale grey to go with the tiles. I will accessorize with coral/orange "pop" framed pictures and a retro pairs soap ad I've printed with features a little red-haired girl. Any other ideas for paint colours? The rest of the house we have painted a very neutral scheme, Taubman's Altair on the walls and Taubman's "Princess Bling" on the trim. Thank you! Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7134 I recently went through a similar renovation and move scenario when updating our family home. We also swapped some rooms around and tackled a major… 2 9752 Thank you. That is really helpful.
