We were at our local reece and they had some nice wall hanging basins the vanities looked OK too. When we take a wall hanging basin - first there might be no studs to hang (my husband does not like pedestals), second were do we put our stuff? With vanities I have a problem, as they are all made out of chipboard (the so called water resistant type) and any leak will destroy them. They tell that they have vanities with seven years of warranty, and my bet is that they are falling apart after that period. Are there vanities made of a different more moisture resistant material than chipboard? The more expensive variety would be to put cesarstone from wall to wall (1.5m) and in there the basin. But we would need custom made doors and a shelf, that would be very expensive I guess and who would make this anyway? vanity or other ideas? 2Mar 29, 2012 3:15 pm Not sure why you assume they all fall apart?
