Our tiler has started on the bathrooms - floor and wall tiles to the ceiling, all matching tiles.
However the layout of the tiles has us a bit concerned, there is a small sliver of cut tile up the wall beside the door architrave (less than 1cm in width) which looks really awful IMO. Is this acceptable?
In the other bathroom the same issue is happening up the wall with the window architrave.
When questioned the tiler said it was to do with the drainage for the flush to floor (smooth no-hob, seamless) shower base.
We think we can fix the first bathroom by putting a wider architrave around the doorway, but not sure what to do about the window in the other bathroom. Are we just being too fussy?
Does anyone have similar, or have suggestions of what we can do?
Many thanks,
NN
