Hi,
We did our tile selection today for our new house. We have chosen to have our wall tiles 1250mm high.
Builders plans have the mirror being installed above vanity at height of 940mm from ground.
We are unsure what to do about positioning of the mirror. Tile shop suggested we have mirror installed above tile meaning it would be at 1250mm height. At first we thought this would be okay, however we asked our young boys to stand on their bath stool and they could not see above 1250mm.
This leaves us with the following options:
1. We have mirror installed at 940mm and sit on tile surface. Am unsure if mirror is blocked at top to avoid it sloping away.
2. Have tiles cut around where mirror will go so mirror will sit in the cut area. Bit concerned about this as tiler may get measurements wrong and it will look stupid with gapes.
3. Have tile sit on top of tile at height of 1250mm.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Or can anyone offer any advise on best method above.
