Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 27, 2012 11:21 pm Hi everyone, I recently bought an old unit with a separate toilet that is in desperate need of a makeover. it is so gross that I dont want to be anywhere NEAR it (think grotty stained toilet, glossy dark brown floor tiles and beige textured wall tiles) and need to have it completely renovated It's a tiny space and a tiny job but I have no idea who to ask for quotes! I know you're supposed to tile underneathe the toilet... so do i need a plumber to come remove the toilet, then get a tiler to come tile.... then ask a plumber to come back and install the loo again or is there someone who can do all of it?? thanks in advance for your help! Re: Renovating a separate toilet... who do I need?! 2Jan 29, 2012 10:32 am Most tilers can strip out the old WC and then the plumber fits the new. Although if its difficult or unusual, you may need a plumber to remove the toilet first and then return after the tiler has tiled Thank you so much for your response.
