Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 18, 2008 2:32 pm After 20 years the water proofing in our shower has given out!
So, builder is at home, pulling 2 rows from the floor up …off the wall and the shower floor up. I had enough tiles to replace the wall tiles, but I needed to order more grey for the floor. At the last minute while at my tile suppliers I changed my mind and went for a colour tile instead. ANYONE WANT TO GUESS WHICH COLOUR I CHOSE????????? Builder will die ; he’s my next door neighbour and a close friend. I always shock him, and he loves it when it’s done!!! Even Glen doesn’t know he’s getting lime green!!!! Mind you, it’s not a bright lime green, very washed out! So not bad! I never win Congratulations Yak_Chat, any idea what your prize is? Interesting colour Michelle, I'll be keen to see some photos when it's finished. Don’t feel too bad……it’s a standard joke here on the forum…..me and lime green! That’s why Steve knew, Ash just knows I like deep red, I wouldn’t put a deep colour on the floor of a shower, or I might have gone that way also!!! The guys hate the lime green!!! I don't mind a bit of lime green if it's well done! I said red for no other reason than it was the first colour that I thought of, so went with my first instincts. As I was typing 'red' I was thinking, "but could it be lime green"? I'm usually right, trusting my instincts, but bombed out this time!
