What pre-plumbing (analogous to pre-wiring) preparations can my builder do to the water connections/pipes so that I can easily put rainwater tank after handover? E.g. Do water connections/pipes need to be exposed outside the brick walls so that my plumber can easily connect the water tank to toilets/laundry?
My Story
I'm currently at frame stage.
I want to put a 5000L slimline rainwater tank after hand over at the side of the house (brick veneer). I want it connected to 3 toilets (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and laundry (downstairs).
I will have Davey Rainbank pump installed.
You see, I forgot to specify in my contract to make allowances for future rainwater tank connections.
Investigations I've done before posting
- I asked my Site Supervisor what pre-plumbing can be done, but he didn't know the answer (he's a complete moron. I think my house is his first job).
- I've already searched this forum (and google) without luck.
- I haven't spoken to plumbers or rainwater tank suppliers. I thought I'd ask here first.
