I need to replace it. Normally this would be easy enough however, this one has had the base cut to make it lower for the first owners in the mid 70s. (why? Who knows?) It has started to crack around the base causing a small slow leak (no punn intended
) onto the floor.
How can I remove it as it doesn't have any screws holding it in. It apears to be cemented instead.
Also it enters a terracotta pipe with a concrete seal on the sewage pipe. How do I best deal with that? I don't wish to break the pipe but how does the concrete that seals it come out?
It is cut at where the screws would normally be to lower it.
This on a concrete slab too by the way with ceramic tiles around it.
