Mosaic tiles on the wall in the bathroom

I like the look of mosaic tiles on the wall in the bathroom but I 'm concerned that they might make the room look small.

Do small tiles make it smaller and big tiles make it bigger?

Also, what are mosaic tiles like to clean? (cleaning is not my specialty....)

Actually one wall of mosaics as a feature looks pretty good but the whole bathroom, to me it looks to busy.

A cleaner look is the 300 x 600 tiles, or 600 x 600. Then you could do 1 wall in the mosaics as a feature colour.

The lesser the grout, the better.
Probably better to use glass splashback.. hehe.

Cathski, have you thought of feature sections of the mosaic tiles??? We did this with some marble tiles in our last place. We had a vertical strip running down one side of our shower and you could use it somewhere else in the room as a feature.

Some people also put the stips against the floor tiles to create a different look.???

Another option for you to consider as well as less cleaning (instead of an entire wall???).

Another idea might be to use them in your shower niche and across the top of your vanity or three or four rows along the top of your bath. Just a small touch but it makes a difference to the overall effect.
