HI,
I am hoping you all can advise me. I just moved into our home a year ago and noticed the row of tiles around the bath is becoming "see through"..I can see through them and see the swirls of the glue at the back.
When I asked my builder, he said he has never seen this before and said it must be the tiles.
We bought the tiles from a very popular tile shop (all over the country) and they summoned the tile rep to have a look.
After 2 months, the tile rep finally turned up and said she had never seen this happened with these tiles and it must be the waterproofing..She has a point. If is was a faulty batch, there would be more faulty tiles elsewhere but it is just happening to the ones around the bath. I wish I can download the pictures here for you all to see..
Now the builder is saying it is not his tiler/plumber..and still maintains the tiles are faulty..
What should I do? How do I fix this? What recourse do I have with my builder - I believe he has to guarantee all work on the house for 7 years?
Thank you all for reading this.
