Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Sep 21, 2011 2:20 pm Current bath tub is about 1510mm long. Looking to replace it. If I buy a smaller one, I will be able to make room for a bigger shower (I prefer to have a bigger shower). However, how practical/comfortable would a smaller bath tub be? And do they make them much smaller? Any recommendations for a standard bath? What should I be looking for? Re: Bath tubs for small bathroom 2Sep 21, 2011 4:59 pm I'm in the same situation and plan to get a 1400 Mizu Japanese soaker bath from Reece: http://www.reece.com.au/bathrooms/products/9502385 Though shorter than other baths, they're deeper than average so your knees don't get cold! I was quoted just under $500 at a small Reece outlet, over $600 at one of their big showrooms, so it's worth calling around. You can also get compact soaker baths from the Japanese Bath Company: http://www.japanesebath.com.au/ They have prices on the site, which is handy... Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included. My hesitation… 0 24692 2 4491 You need to reference the manufactures installation guide, your supplier may have strengthened the base where it is not required to sit on a bed. 1 1815 |
