The brick wall behind the shower is showing signs of flaking and damage to the paint. In the actual shower some of the grout between the wall tiles is missing and I can see water dripping into the hole in the grout while it is running. Does anyone have any comments on using companies like Diamond Seal to fix a leaky shower? They offer a 12 year warranty. I am in Adelaide. They offer a 12 year warranty There are other companies around who do the same sort of thing as well but their warranties are next to useless. It is very hard or next to impossible to prove that their product has failed and their fine print will have something like " unforseen structural problems of the existing bathroom " or some other rubbish to absolve them of any wrongdoing. Usually we've found in the past that you end up doing the whole bathroom. You strip the whole room out and do the waterproofing to the whole floor and shower recess walls as well.
