Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Aug 30, 2011 11:42 pm Hello everyone!! I know this may sound silly, but when we did our tile selection we opted not to do the ceramic soap holders for we were thinking of doing the chrome ones which we can upgrade at Pre-start. The trouble was, we forgot to inform our consultant we want to upgrade it and she also just assumed we don't want any. In short, our bathroom doesn't have any soap holders. My question is, how do you install soap holders post-handover? I mean do you have to get someone to do it or is it easy as like putting a glue to the holder and the tile? Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks! Srichz Re: soap holder installation 2Aug 31, 2011 12:03 am to be honest i think soap holders are an ugly sight, especially as they go all disgusting etc. We removed it. Much cleaner look and we dont have to worry if it matches the tile and 1 less thing to keep clean. We mainly use body wash. If future owners want to use soap, they can juse use the suction cup ones :p Re: soap holder installation 3Aug 31, 2011 4:22 pm srichz My question is, how do you install soap holders post-handover? Re: soap holder installation 4Aug 31, 2011 5:08 pm +1 - hate soap holders. We are going to put a shelf up - it's much easier to keep clean and there's more room for shower gel, shampoos, etc. They do need to be drilled into the wall unless you want to take a chance with the suction cup versions which can fall off the wall.
